 One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to know new people and listen to their stories unfold as we take pictures together. I enjoyed getting to know the Patch family and hear their story. 

These girls were naturals behind the camera and quick to strike a pose, I love that we were able to capture their personalities throughout the night.

{Asher} | 1 Year Cake Smash | Metro Detroit Photographer

Baby Asher was not sure what to think of his cake until he got a taste of it and then he was all smiles. His pictures tell it all. I just love capturing these milestone moments. I don't pull out the backdrops all that often anymore but I enjoyed bringing them out again to capture this cake smash session. 

My favorite pictures were captured after the cake smash while his mother was giving him a bath. There is just something extra special about capturing such a simple everyday thing between a baby and his mother. ...and his eyes, I just love his eyes!
